Our Mission:

It shall be the purpose of the Madison Area General Defense Committee to aid those who find themselves persecuted by the powers that be in their struggle for justice and freedom.

The Madison Area General Defense Committee serves a vital purpose in our community to lend a helping hand to activists and working people. We are committed to the goals and aims of solidarity and are organized to act in defense of those who find themselves at odds with police, hierarchies, and courts because of their commitment to change.
